Prompt: Any, any, lady or the tiger?

Her mother gave her the tiger cub the day they performed the funeral rites for her father.

The kingdom is ours, daughter, the newly-anointed empress said.

All the neighboring kings sent armies to conquer them, but Mother simply raised her hand to summon a sandstorm and those armies were never seen again. Father's grand vizier had tried the same trick to execute the sultan's wife while the sultan's body was still warm, but Mother came from the desert and her magick was far stronger.

The people feared them, but loved them, and she walked through the capitol with her tiger at her side.

And when Princess Jasmine is twenty, a young man approaches her. He is handsome and cunning and he hungers for a throne. He whispers to her, just after his seed fills her, that they can take the crown from her mother, can kill the wicked sorceress and rule, as sultan and sultana, as the sun and the moon, until the stars fall from the sky.

She smiles at him, presses a gentle kiss to his lips, and rises from his pallet on the floor. His pet monkey chitters in fear, but he hisses, "Hush, Abu."

And then Rajah strides from the shadows, and call me Aladdin scrambles for his knife.

"Feast, my dearest," Jasmine says and the tiger's roar echoes through Agrabah.

Prompt: Sam, Bones, Bones is a Skinwalker and is protective of Sam.

On her very first solo hunt, when she was seventeen, Mary Campbell let a young skinwalker live. A decade later, the no longer young skinwalker found Mary Winchester and settled down to watch over her and keep her safe.

Two years later, a demon came calling and Mary Winchester died. Her sons, though, lived, and her husband, so the skinwalker followed them. Swore to protect them, since he failed Mary so horribly.

And then John Winchester began hunting, killing things that were different, so the skinwalker fell further back, let longer go by before checking in on Mary's sons.

A few years passed and a golden retriever watched Sam Winchester, the younger boy, storm out of his family's apartment. The dog followed him from that town to another, saw him get a motel room using cash he'd earned hustling pool, and then made sure Sam tripped over him.

Of course Sam took him back to the motel room, fed him some of his own supper, bathed him in the tub, and let him sleep in the bed.

And for a few glorious days, the skinwalker (named Bones by Mary's baby boy) had a family, had a child to protect and cherish and love.

But then John and Dean found him. And even though Sam yelled, Bones got left behind. He caught up a couple years later, but by then Sam had gone to Stanford, and on the way to Stanford, Bones was hit by a car.

A little girl cuddled him in the backseat as her mother rushed him to the vet. And he would never forget Mary, and he would always love Sam, but Vanessa and Nicki needed him right then.

Nicki named him Shadow, after a character in her favorite movie, and he would watch over her for the rest of her life.

Rating: PG13
Wordcount: 110
Point of view: third
Prompt: Lindsey/Spike, Spike drinking some of Lindsey's blood (established relationship).

Spike doesn't ever really ask permission anymore. He'll just throw himself next to or on Lindsey and nuzzle his neck, letting his teeth slip in for a moment, and then he'll lick up the trickle of blood. It's like a kiss.

And sometimes, he'll latch on whenever they fuck, and it's an explosion of pleasure, with just a hint of pain—the best thing Lindsey's ever felt.

The greatest thing of all, though, is when Lindsey whispers a spell into Spike's skin, when he draws a certain pattern of runes onto Spike's back, and then he pulls Spike into the sunlight and Spike drinks him in the heat.

Title: the time of youth was fled
Fandom: The Losers movieverse/Highlander
Disclaimer: not my characters; title from William Blake

Pairings: implied Cougar/Jensen
Rating: PG
Wordcount: 435
Point of view: third
Prompt: Losers/Highlander, Jensen & Clay(&or Roque), #103. My commander is not old enough to have fought in the Civil War, and I should stop implying that he did.

As the youngest of their team, Jensen got a lot shit about being a kid, about being an infant, about listening to his elders. Once he got comfortable enough, he started calling them old men, grandpa, and asking if they needed hearing aids.

When they got paired up with another group for a mission, Jensen was reported for in-field insubordination, but Clay dealt with it before Jensen ever learned. He'd just gotten the kid trained up right and wasn't about to risk losing the best tech he'd ever had.

Jensen was smart, an excellent shot, and survived whatever got thrown at him. All of them had been on missions where they were sure he died, but then he'd show up with a last minute save and not a scratch on him, any blood the enemy's. Kid was a goddamned walking miracle.

And then came the second time they met Max. Pooch down with a shattered kneecap, Cougar gutshot, Aisha with two knives in her abdomen, and Clay on his knees gasping for air as Max's new right-hand-man chokes him.

And Jensen, already dead, on the floor.

But then Jensen is up, two guns in hand and picking off Max's men. And Jensen isn't smiling, isn't joking, is moving like a predator, quick and silent, and both guns are pointed at Max's face. Clay's free, catching his breath, and Jensen orders, "Help Cougar and Aisha."

And Max's eyes are wide and he says, "You have to show me how you did that."

Now Jensen smiles, and it's the most terrifying thing Clay's ever seen.

"I had hoped," Jensen says, "that I'd have time to play with you." He shrugs, drops the smile, and pulls both triggers.

One to the heart, Clay notes, one to the head. And then twelve more, six from each gun, and Jensen turns to their team.

"I'll explain later," he mutters, shoving Pooch out of the way so that he can look at Cougar.

They all survive, and get out of Max's underground lair just before it catches fire. And when Jensen explains, once they're safe and hidden, Clay listens in shock, not sure if be believes.

Because Jensen says he's not a kid. Says he's older than America, older than the English language itself.

But it does explain a great deal, and whatever it is, it saved them.

And when Clay calls him kid, when Pooch says Jensen's still his brother, when Aisha shrugs, and when Cougar reaches up to cup Jensen's cheek, Jensen smiles and relaxes and starts to babble about some technical shit, and Clay knows they'll be just fine.

Enjoyed 'em all, especially 1, 2 and 4, despite knowing little to nothing of two of them.

Good stuff there! Thank you!
