The deadline for photo submissions has passed and I have sent the book to be published. I will be taking pictures of the book when I receive it so that everyone can see what it looks like. I will also have it with me at EyeCon, of course, so if you're there you can have a look at it.
Our donations for The Animal Rescue Site right now is at $2189.40!! The cost of the book was $181 plus $21.98 shipping, so $150 will be subtracted from the final amount to be donated. I'm looking for two stories. The firs is Gen, OW, with all Seven, but mostly Ezra. The Clarion is attacked, printing press destroyed, and Mary kidnapped. The Seven ride off to rescue her, with Ezra infiltrating the gang. Ezra gets the gang leader to pay him some money, which angers the others until he explains that he
did it so Mary could get her printing press replaced. He also gets a friend of his who’s also a newspaperman to let Mary print the big story on his press.
The second story is also Gen, OW, with Ezra as the main character. Bad guys hold Mary (and someone else…Casey?) captive in the Clarion and Ezra goes in pretending to be a lawyer to try and talk the bad guys into giving themselves up. All the while he spews out Latin phrases that are actually insults. I beleive this one was recently posted to Blackraptor but I can't remember the title or author, and of course now I can't find it!
Does anyone remember either of these stories?

Pippy is the longest foster I've ever had. It's been a year now and still no home. All 6 of her brothers and sisters found happy homes fairly quickly except for poor lil Pip. I don't know what it is either because she's a sweet cat. I think her age is kinda against her now though since everyone seems to want a tiny kitten.
She is quite small for being a year old and I think she's still cute! What is wrong with people?! :P
She has yet another meeting with a family today, so HOPEFULLY she'll be adopted. They seemed very excited about it, so I'm reeeeally hoping this is the one!

Hey! I've got a strange itch to scratch, and its all about Connor (Superboy!) I blame Te, who did a fab fic about a pairing that should be so wrong but isn't.
So...
I'm looking for any fics that have Connor in them, whether it be Smallville-canon or comic-canon.
and...
I'm looking to see if there's any Connor/Clark stories in existence.
It doesn't HAVE to be slash (though, kink), it can be bonding, family, or even just arguements- but I would like the two of them in it.
OOh, or centered around finding out the Lex is the other donor for Connor.

Aside from that, things are moving along. I think I've unpacked all the boxes in my room - old and new stuff. I got rid of a ton of old text books which freed up a lot of space. I've still got to figure out where everything goes; making space for THREE NEW CLASSROOM LIBRARIES is challenging, but those books need to have a place of honor!
I realized that I had no backing paper for my bulletin boards so I ran down to the teacher store. I thought it would be a zoo - it wasn't. I thought I'd be on line forever - I wasn't. And, in the midst of all my cleaning I found a $25 gift card I got as a thank you at the end of June. The total cost of the paper I got - $24.70-something. Meant to be. *g*
So tomorrow I've got to do all the nitty-gritty organizing and get cooking on my bulletin boards. I think I'm in very good shape!
