Prompt: White Collar/Chuck, Twins! Neal & Bryce + their teams, FBI and CIA (and NSA) join forces to uncover an arms dealer working behind the scenes of an art show

The order came down from someone a few rungs higher than Hughes on the ladder, and Neal wasn't allowed to say no.

What worried Peter was that after learning the CIA was heavily involved, Neal quit fussing about it. In fact, he spent most of the two days leading up to the meeting grinning. He didn't stop, that Peter saw.

Not a good sign. For anyone.

"We're waiting for our last agent," the spokesperson for the CIA said, while two other agents set up their laptops.

Peter shot a quick glance around, about ready to track Neal down and drag him to the conference room. Then, Neal walked in, holding his hat in his hands. And another Neal followed him.

Peter blinked, looked away, and looked back. Yep, still two Neals.

The CIA lady said, "Bryce." The Neal without a hat chuckled.

Neal just kept on smirking.

Prompt: Castiel, Cas talks to Gaia for info. about God

Uriel would call him a naive child. Uriel would stand before him in their true form, of air and fire and spirit. Uriel would scorn this action, kneeling on the Earth and praying to Gaia, She who came first, She who created the creator, She who is, was, and will be unto the ending of all and even after.

Uriel, at the end, did not believe in God, so Castiel knows he never believed in Gaia. But the more time Castiel spends among humans, inside Jimmy, the more feels something. It is not of Heaven, or of Hell, which leaves only Earth.

Gaia. God's Mother, She who first created, and She who will finally decide when everything ends.

And so, in Jimmy's body, he kneels upon the dirt and whispers, asking for aid in finding Father, Her firstborn child.

He stays there until dawn and while he never hears Gaia's voice, his phone rings, Dean on the other end.

The wind seems to laugh as he answers, and he supposes that means something.

(Much later, he'll realize what that something was.)

Prompt: any characters, They've all been in an insane asylum all along

Castiel says, Jimmy, calm down, they can't separate us, don't worry.

Jimmy shakes, huddled against the wall, tears on his face. They will, they will, he gasps, trying to shrink away from the orderlies with cold hands and black eyes. They'll take you from me and I'll be alone, like I was after Amelia and Claire, I'll be alone again, always and forever, Castiel—

Shh, Castiel whispers, his eyes shining brilliant white as he envelopes Castiel in his warm wings. Peace, otherself. We are safe, and we are strong, and no one can ever take us from each other.

(They give him a sedative and he sleeps. Castiel murmurs in his mind and the doctors change his medication again, and in the morning, he will wake screaming.)

Prompt: Neil, like a former god

He is not the oldest, nowhere near that primordial age, and while he is not the weakest, he is also not the strongest.

He never belonged to any one pantheon; he preferred to travel, to live amongst the humans and explore the world instead of lording above it. Because of that, he has a name in every culture and a legend in each country.

He is the god of trickery and change, of acting and playing, of the tale and stage and movie-reel. He is the god of lying and painting, of dancing and singing. He is the god of fun.

He has lived a thousand lives, been a man and woman, a coyote and a fox, a raven and a mockingbird, a dolphin and a clownfish. He has annoyed all the great gods, from Zeus and Odin to Vishnu and Yahweh and Quetzalcoatl. He even danced with Kali once.

While he wears a shape, he locks away anything that is unnatural to that shape. So he did not have to die as a coyote, but allowed himself to. It'd be cheating to do anything else.

And he does not have to stay in New York, shackled like a pup, tethered by a tracking anklet. He did not have to stay in prison, or escape like any other criminal. He is unlike every other criminal in the annals of history. He is the greatest criminal, the first thief, the supreme con-man.

He is Coyote, and all the world is his territory.

But in this life, he' s Neal Caffrey. And Neal Caffrey belongs in New York, to Peter Burke. This game with Peter is the most fun he's had in three lives, so he will see it through to the end.

She has lived before, she has lived for always, she was first and she will be last...

mary mary, quite contrary,
how does your garden grow?

In the beginning, she was. There is no time prior to her awakening, and there will be no time after she sleeps. Alone and lonely, she crafted existence.

Tired of always being far from her creations, she was born as a mortal. She became many mortals.

As a mortal, she created another being, something like her. More, unique, the best of all things.

let this cup pass from my hands
why have you forsaken me?

And now, she knows the time has come to live again. To be the mother. To carry a savior inside her, something more. Unique. The best of all things.

As a mortal, she feels half-asleep, unable to grasp or wield the true magnitude of her power. And as the woman Mary Winchester, she has two sons: one to save and one to damn, one for Hell and one for Heaven, one for Michael and one for Sammael.

No. She stares into newborn eyes, eyes that saw the beginning, eyes that will see the end. Her first creation, her best creation, her favored. He is yet incomplete, even now, countless eons since she first fashioned him in her hands.

Her second child, this life, he screams in anger and fear as she forces him from her body into the waiting hands of his father, a mortal warrior hardened by fire and death. And she smiles as the firstborn, brilliant and shining, gently brushes his fingers along his baby brother's cheek.

Yes. She has lived before, she has lived always, she has lived and lived and lived.

Her sons to save, her sons to destroy, her sons in the beginning and at the end, unto the edge of forever and beyond, her will be done.

The 2 myth-y/SN ones run right along with a story I've been writing for a while, that has the Mother of All Things (subtle gaea re-naming) and Cas meeting.

I look forward to it.

That would require me getting the nerves up to actually post something where other people could read it...

Loved the one with Neal and Bryce- and also with Neal as a God...I could totally imagine Moz as a magical creature who has been with Neal for years...

I'm always checking back here and realizing I missed something :) I hadn't read these before and, oh, they're so beautiful! I love the thought of "Mr. and Mrs. Charles" and "Neal" together in New York! :) Aw, Peter is so sweet all worried about him (and a bit jealous?) The one where Cas speaks to Gaia is very cool - love the implications of the ending. Cas/Jimmy as a patient in an asylum is heartbreaking! You have a great Cas voice, and you do such amazing things with mythology! :D Neal as a god is a delicious idea, but the real punch in this post I think comes at the very end. Mary as God! And working in that nursery rhyme... You are so so clever.

Thank you so very much! I've had way too much fun with Mary Winchester: she's been God, and God's daughter, and the mother of Jesus... *hee*

Also, Castiel's such an interesting character to write.
